When my hubby was told he could choose where he wanted to go for his next duty station we decided on Texas because everyone said it was the best place to go. So far it has not been the best place for me. We have been here since the end of September and things have just been crazy. And I am so upset at myself because I usually have no problem making friends, but I haven't made a single one. I know I need to make friends otherwise I will go insance but it is so hard with having a 13 month old and also being pregnant again. And not to mention that we only have one vehicle so if I want to do anything during the week I have to take my hubby to work and I get put on a time schedule. I just don't know what to do. I need to get a life because I am already feeling myself slip. Ideas anyone?

I know exactly what you mean. Have you tried looking into Mommy and Me classes or playdate groups or something like that? You'll already have a beginning conversation starter (your child) and also those are usually mid morning which would be within the time that the husband is at work so you can get back in time.

I agree that you should try to find a play group! Finding other mommies with children around the same age of yours will help. Try websites like Cafemom.com to find playgroups on your post!! I know it seems hard, but moving to a new place always is. You still haven't been there very long! Don't give up!! :hugs:
