Military Wife Confessions

Just tryin to meet new peeps on this side of the island.  I'm a college student and have been in Hawaii for five years.  Didn't plan on staying this long, but then I met my now husband and here I am! I know a few people over on the Kaneohe side and some in town, but have yet to really meet anyone on this side (Mililani, Wahiawa)..kind of a bummer.  Not to mention my hubby is deployed right now! I don't have kids.  I just usually hang out with friends when I'm not doin homework so that's about it.  If you're a cool chica and are lookin for someone to hangout w/ or just talk to hit me up =)

Hello =) Just to answer your question.  I live in Mililani Mauka...it's like 5 mins from Schofield.  I go there practically everyday to go to the gym and I have class there sometimes at the education center.  My husband and I were looking at getting base housing, but we're not sure yet.  Do you live on Schofield? That's so cuuute you have two little girls.  My husband and I were trying to get prego when he came on on R&R but no luck..maybe when he gets home! LoL

yea that's too bad you're leaving! I'll be here at least for another 3 years i'm guessing..well as soon as my hubby reenlists or extends cuz he just got k9.  have you met many friends here on the island?

That's cool =) my roomie works on pearl harbor.  i decided since my husband was deployed i would get a roommate..great idea! so how long have  you been hawaii?

that's what happened to my husband too..instead of stop-lossing him they "involuntarily" extended him...wasn't that so nice of them? granted i can't complain cuz i'm trying to finish up my degree so it makes it easier on me not having to transfer =) well as for you..i'm sure you have lots of good friends to help support you while he is deployed. my hubby is deployed right now and won't be back until August this year!

it sure is  i dunno if where we live counts as mauka; we live in launani valley by the army golf course. i have one little monster and she's pushing 4 years old! 

do you go to manoa? i enrolled there but decided not to go this spring because i couldn't get my daughter in to pre-school. what do you major in?

wow im sorry hun yea actually i made a group its called the schofield barracks stroller brigade.. its for wives who would like to lose weight its so much fun u dont have to have kids to join.. we meet up at the track mon-fri from 9-11 a.m. we also run bleachers lol if ur intrested let me know =)

Yea that sounds like fun =) Maybe on Monday I'll give it a try LoL I go to school at night and sometimes find myself awake at 3am still doing homework so as long as I can get up it shouldn't be a problem!  Now that I think of it I don't really know where the bleachers are at even so I'll send you a message with my number in it and you can either call/text me k.
