Military Wife Confessions

So we have the option of going to Ft. Campbell ....

Has anyone been there yet? Can anyone tell me something about living there?

I am really concerned that we might go from bad (FLW) to worse (Ft. Campbell)... online it doesn't look like there is anything around there! Hubby really wants to take the slot, but I really don,t get excited about KENTUCKY ...

Urgh...advice?

I can't tell you anything about the base it's self..but Kentucky is REALLY pretty.

I've HEARD it's a nice base...as for stuff to do, ect, I don't know. 

im from kentucky and its really nice here, BUT if you are a more classy kinda of person who doesnt enjoy the outdoors and getting dirty then you will hate it. ;)

have fun and buy a fourwheeler, put some boots on (not high heels) and blast you a few mud holes... LOL the mountains will definatly grow on you, i think you will love it

I don't mind some dirt but my son can't stand it.... hahaha we gotta wait now and see if he got the slot

We are stationed in Hawaii now but we came from Ft. Campbell and Im hoping that after Hawaii we can go back to Ft. C. I LOVED it there. Nashville in only 45 minutes away and Louisville is about an hour and a half. Im crazy about the area and Im from Washington State so its totally different then what Im used to.
