Military Wife Confessions

I'm a proud Army Wife of 16 years with too many PCSs, Deployments, missed births and special occassions to count.  I have lived, survived and become stronger as a wife, mom and person because of each duty station that has called to us, and each friend we've hugged good-bye.

My children are Blessed to have the father that my husband is, although he may not be able to attend every event they are in, he is truly there when he can be.  Their lives are much richer and more well rounded because of the military life that we've lived.  They are happy, cultured, travelled and open minded children.  They have seen and heard so much and can now share what they have been blessed to experience with others who might not have such an open image of our military and it's wonderful members.

I am truly Blessed by my family, my friends and my life.  I would love to meet more military wives who are retired or soon to be, who live in non-military communities.  It's tough enough being a Military Wife and even tougher when you're in a non-military community!
